About Serena

Serena Shay lives in the north with her super supportive hubby, beautiful daughter and two sweet doxie pups. She began writing at an early age, creating stories out of love for the idea and characters as a hobby. But when the mountain of post-it notes toppled over Serena decided to take her passion for writing more seriously. With encouragement from her family, she decided to take her writing from hobby to career and submitted her work.

Serena has been blessed with not only one but two fantastic critique partners, dear friends and wonderful writers.

Not quite the world traveler in real life she is in her imagination, Serena has never traveled overseas, but she has seen several places here in the U.S.of A. Born in Hawaii, she sadly was only there a year and remembers none of it, but would love to go back. The vast majority of her life has been spent in Minnesota, with a short ten year hiatus in Texas. She still misses the warm winter days and hot summer nights.

Trips to California for work amazed her with how big the ocean truly is and instilled in her a desire to go back for more. Her only experience on the east coast was a short trip to Florida.

Thankfully writing is something she can do anywhere cause she has a lot of the world still to see.
